Tim Mee Toy brings back some classic WW2 troops. This bag of 28 OD-Green Plastic Army Men is proudly manufactured in the United States. The Set features 11 different figures, and all your old favorites are here: Marching, Advancing with Bayonet, Overhead Bayonet, Grenade Thrower, Grease MG operator, Mine Sweeper, MGner, Radio Operator, Crawling with Rifle, Prone with Rifle, and Officer with Binoculars. Figures are approximately 1:32 scale and stand up to 2.5 inches tall. Figures stand well on their own except for the Radio Operator which often needs to be propped up. Made from slightly flexible LDPE plastic with medium detail and some flashing.
These Soldiers were originally produced in the 1950s by DK Toys and Novelties, then (possibly) by Applause Toys, followed by production in hard plastic for the hobby market, then BMC Toys until coming full circle back to Tim Mee Toy in 2023. The figures are copies of the original Tim Mee Toy WW2 GI’s from 1948 but are slightly smaller with a little less detail. They are frequently misidentified as Eldon due to an error in a popular collector’s book.
This is a Set of real American Made plastic heroes, meant to be set up, knocked down, picked up and played with for many years to come. Little Green Army Men have even been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. Packed in clear bag with insert card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
