From Farmers’ Market Experiment to Pennsylvania Pantry Favorite
Nutty Novelties began in 2012 at the Lansdale Farmers’ Market, where founder Caleb Mangum first experimented with a build-your-own trail-mix bar. When the original idea failed to catch on, a friend suggested trying natural nut butter—and a new Pennsylvania maker was born.
Today, brothers Caleb and Jesse Mangum lead a small team that produces Nutty Novelties’ creative spreads in Telford, Pennsylvania. Their approach remains refreshingly straightforward: begin with quality nuts, grind in small batches, and add just enough flavor to make each variety distinctive while allowing the nuts themselves to remain the star.
