Why We Chose It
There’s a Reason It’s Here.
We chose Lotus Biscoff because few cookies have become so closely connected with the coffee-drinking experience. Its light crunch and caramelized sweetness complement a freshly brewed cup without overpowering it, making it a simple but memorable addition to a coffee break, breakfast basket, or afternoon treat.

The Little Belgian Biscuit Made for Coffee
The Lotus Biscoff story began in 1932, when Belgian baker Jan Boone Sr. created a crisp, caramelized cookie using carefully selected ingredients. He named it Lotus after the flower associated with purity. During the 1950s, the individually wrapped cookies began appearing in cafés and restaurants as a companion to coffee—and the pairing quickly became a favorite. Even the name “Biscoff” brings the tradition together, combining “biscuit” and “coffee” in one memorable word.
