Why We Chose It
There’s a Reason It’s Here.
Clark Cups connect two Pennsylvania candy traditions in one treat. We love the contrast of creamy and crunchy textures—and the wonderfully accidental story of how Boyer created them.

Meet the Maker
When a Clark Bar Became a Candy Cup
The original Clark Bar has been a Pittsburgh candy tradition since 1917. When Altoona-based Boyer Candy Company began making Clark Bars, some early batches tasted right but came out in the wrong shape. According to Boyer, a team member broke up one of those misshapen bars and mixed the pieces into a peanut butter cup. Clark Cups were born from that experiment.
Boyer now makes Clark Cups in Altoona, giving a historic Pennsylvania candy a new chapter—and a satisfying crunch.
